About

The University of Padua, with money from the Veneto Region, helps students with little money (both from Italy and other countries) who want to join Bachelor’s, Single-cycle, Master’s, or PhD courses.

Who can apply

Any student meeting the below criteria:

  • Have a low family income (ISEE below €26,306.25 and ISPE below €42,192.96)
  • Accepted into a University of Padua degree or PhD program.
  • Meet the requirements for obtaining an Italian visa.
  • Do not receive any other national or international scholarships or grants.
  • Fulfill the merit and additional criteria outlined in the Call.

Not meeting any of these criteria will result in ineligibility for this scholarship.

How to Apply for the Scholarship

You can apply online by completing the “Richiesta di agevolazioni – Application for benefits,” available on your personal Uniweb page. Refer to the guide for more details.

When to apply for the academic year 2024/25: From July to September 30, 2024.

Amount of scholarship: The scholarship amount varies based on your family income and other conditions specified in the Call. It may include a tuition fee exemption, a subsistence allowance, and free or discounted student services such as accommodation and meals at university canteens.

Payments:

  • First-year students will receive the scholarship in two installments. The first installment is disbursed by the end of December 2024, and the second installment is released upon earning 20 CFUs, with a deadline of August 10, 2025.
  • Students in subsequent years will receive the scholarship in a single installment by the end of December 2024.

Duration of scholarships: Scholarships are awarded for one academic year, contingent on meeting certain conditions (academic achievements, number of credits, etc.). You need to renew your application every academic year.

Required documents: To apply for a regional scholarship, you must submit your “Equivalent Economic Status Index (ISEE),” which also includes the ISPE.
