Eligibility

To apply for the UEG Research Fellowship, you must:

  • Be a myUEG Associate.
  • Be a clinical or basic researcher focused on digestive diseases.
  • Have finished your PhD within the last five years, or be currently in gastroenterology/hepatology/surgery training, or have completed it within the last five years (up to four years of additional time allowed for main carers with children).
  • Not have a permanent academic position.
  • Have considerable research experience.
  • Speak English fluently.
  • Live in Europe, a country bordering the Mediterranean Sea, or a country represented by a UEG National Member Society.
